Work for piano in a single movement. The piece is dedicated to
Maestro José Francisco Martínez de Andrés on his forty‑second birthday.
The Piece
The work consists of a brief descriptive poem about the virtues of the honoree, which provides clues about the direction the musical tribute will take. The piece contains all kinds of symbolism — sonic, visual, numerical, cabalistic, graphic — all blended to make the homage as complete as possible and to inspire the creation of something new that may delight the listener and, above all, the person being honored.
